NGADM Round 1 review

While wonderfully produced, this song relies heavily on dissonance and non-melodic components. I don't hear any definable leitmotif that could identify any elements or characters in your alien invasion story. It sounds like it's continuously describing the same scene, as if in a side-scroller game. That being said, this song would likely help keep any gamer in the epic battle mood.

A rather disappointing track in that it's not your strongest forte (which I believe should be piano), and it's rather short and unfinished.

What hurt this song was that it was a bit loud. While being enjoyable to listen to, it became repetitive and predictable. But I feel that it's a great song for being made in barely 2 days.

I thought the composition and singing itself were great. However the mixing overall was somewhat lacking and needs improvement.

I scored your song a 7 for the NGADM because while I thought the song was good, the mixing was not as great.

I'd write more, more the other NGADM judges have covered pretty much what I wanted to say in more detail as well. I really liked rocking out to this song. The fact there was no vocals was only a MINOR drawback though. Woo! Yeah! \m/ >_<\m/

I was impressed that you made a pop song sound good. You're very good at this genre, and you have an excellent voice.

I loved the intro and melody! The overall feel was awesome, and the composition was strong.
However, I wasn't found of the production quality itself, and the sample usage was weak.

The production is weaker than normal for you, but that's understandable considering your CCC got stolen.
I thought this song, although short was very good melody and comopositional-wise. I just wished it wasn't so short.

I love the into in this one. It gives it sort of an "eerie space". I as disappointed when the drums
kicked in however, as I thought it did not fit the original song feel that was presented.
