The production is great, but how it switches soundfounts continually and
changes direction was off putting. However, it stayed interesting enough
for me to enjoy it.

Good effort with the multiple voice harmony, but some of the vocal parts
were slightly weaker, as in thin, than the overall song. It got a little
hectic around 3:10, and the harmony was hard to place. The execution was
weak, but the composition itself, I felt was wonderful.

I love the piano variation in this piece. This could easily be used in a modern
day Peanuts revival :D. I felt that a more traditional jazz beat could have
improved this song eloquently. I just felt that the "DnB sounding" drum beat
was mis-matched and even jarring to the overall listening experience.

Heh heh, I'm going to have to kindly disagree with you about the drums. To me, they are what made the track unique. I really wanted contrast between the chill pads/harmonies and subtly aggressive percussion. I'm trying to imagine this in swing rhythm and traditional jazz drumming, maybe with an upright bass...While interesting, that would totally go against what I was trying to accomplish with this.

How about we agree to disagree on this one. XD
Thanks for your review!

I love the melody presented by the piano and how the orchestra expands upon it.
This has a wonderful emotional feel to it and I can see this being used in a
period drama. The full orchestra coming in to back up the piano melody though,
that took my breath away.

This sounds more dubstep than house to me personally, and the mixing was okay,
if not great. The entire track was WAY too hot and the waveform was practically
bulging the edges the whole way through. There was absolutely no dynamic
range that I could hear occurring during this track.

Thanks for the review. Ya it was a little too hyped probably; I'll consider it in my next ones.

This sounds like it would belong in a good side scroller. It's a interesting
mix of orchestral and synth elements, and the change in feel in the middle
kept this song interesting for me. Great mixing and production values.

I loved the use of ethnic instrumentsin this piece, specifically the sitar.
I loved the melodies that you presented, and just when it's in danger of
becoming repetitive, a new instrument or idea is presented. I loved the
slightly odd choice of boinging percussion used at times, and usage of the
bongo were just right, without them getting too intrusive.

Omniwitch suffers from the same problems as Child of the Trough. There's
no definiing main melody, and the overall feel changes every so often that
there's little to no coherence in the track. Once again, this sounds like
an improv of some sort that randomly branches off into an eventual sudden
halt. I feel that once again not using your strongest musical ability,
your voice, has also contributed to this track's shortcomings. Mixing, as
usual was excellent.

The composition and lyrics were wonderful. The voice recording was somewhat dissappointing in that the noise removal seemed to decrease it's quality rather than enhance it. An improved recording environment would probably help your vocal recording much more thqan post processing software such as noise removal.

This had a very march-like quality to me, and it conveys a sense of giant bewitched wind-up toys marching in a bizarre parade as part of a childish nightmare.
