This is a technically clean submission. But I don't hear a definite melody. Maybe it's just me, but I think s more definitive melody might improve this song. However, I do like the overall groove of this song :D

A story behind the song?
A happy man is walking through the streets on his own, thinking that he has everything that he needs and wants.
But then he meets the love of his life. She completes him and vice versa.
After that they live their life together, till the very end.

Oh yeah I forgot all about that. The story is basically that two lovers, separated by fate, finally reunite. They run toward each other and embrace in the most intimate of embraces. Then they kiss for the first time in months.

Preternatural's opinion is a bit premature. I happen to have the game lol and this definately sounds different from the original. This is definately a genuine re-make, and a good one at that. You have a very good ear. Kudos to you sir. I only give you a 9 since it is not your own composition.

10/10 5/5 Outstanding for a high school band!

I don't know what province or state you live in, but they obviously have a much better music program there. Where I live, a high school band sounds nowhere this quality, even an honors band.
