There are also techno elements in this
The synth is very reminiscent of straight techno. Abiet, without vocals (a staple of mainstream techno). The drums/base however, reminds me more of hardcore techno. If you've ever heard of DJ Scooter, he has many tracks very similar to this. I'd recommend you find some of his music. I can PM you a link for some good links if you wish. Your base is actually fine. It's in the middle range that most people can live with. I happen to have a good (and rather pricey) speaker system and the base pounds. The reason why I wouldn't change the base much more is because most discrening listeners will turn the base up or down on their own systems, regardless of how much YOU put in. All you need ot worry about is not letting the base track start clipping in your main mix. If you look at the waveform, that is actually when the base hits the edges of the box and are flush against it. Your wave form at max volume should always be completely somewhere inside the box at all times. If you want further clarification, I can post a reply somewhere in your current thread with a picture to illustrate what I mean.
I hope this review has been informative.
